It's a day care day in our home but we needed something a little different for once. So we decided to build a fort. As easy as draping a blanket over some chairs or a table and you have endless learning opportunities to enjoy. The four of us had a great morning.
What did we learn?
- How to build. Too many blankets made them all slip off and too few didn't cover all the light. Problem solving is so important for toddlers too!
- Flashlights can help you see in the dark or find something too.
- How to share. With only one way in and one way out we had to take turns coming and going from our tent.
- Trying to sneak out the back will tip the whole tent over so use the doorways. Making and following the rules helps everyone to be safe and have fun!
- Playing with any toy can be more fun in a tent!
