Eggs. I read Jen's Foody topic for the day and went, ummmm.... We eat a lot of egg sandwiches and eggs and bacon. More often for supper than breakfast as it makes for a cheap and somewhat healthy meal. I asked Jason and he was slow to answer as well. He knows what a keishe is but that doesn't mean he loves to eat it. He'd rather you fry a pan of bacon and fry his eggs in the grease. I know, you can cringe all you want but you can't change your man, we all know this! So back to ummm....
I love baked french toast and you use eggs in it. Will that count?!
Honey-Baked French Toast
15 slices French bread, cut diagonally
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. honey, divided
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. metled butter
Grease 9x13 inch pan. In medium bowl, combine eggs, 2 Tbsp. honey, cinnamon and milk. Drop bread into mixture. Arrange bread in pan in three rows, overlapping slightly. Pour any remaining egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In morning, sprinkle with brown sugar. Drizzle with melted butter and remaining honey. Bake in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes.
This is one of the yummiest breakfasts. I love to make it for company because it actually looks and serves up pretty with a large bowl of fresh fruit. Now I gave you the directions but I have to admit, I never measure a thing. I just make it look yummy!
If you want to participate in Foody Friday please visit our host at A Latte Talk and join in the fun! You will hopefully have an egg dish that is actually and egg dish...

It COUNTS! That sounds like a fabulous recipe!
That sounds yummy! I've never made a baked french toast recipe, but that one sounds easy enough for me to try! Thanks!
The birthday cake Paul's family makes is mostly eggs. It's a Latvian recipe, and the only other ingredients are a little bit of flour and sugar, and is surprisingly wonderful.
We would LOVE to have you all come meet our puppy!! I know she'll be calmer and more friendly in a week or so...she's pretty skittish with people right now. SO, can we look at sometime the 2nd weekend of November? Weeknights are fine too, if that works out ok with Seth's bedtime.
And we'll do the cooking this time!
Let's find a date...
