steppin' up
Today was my first day wearing a pedometer. We get a friendly little bonus towards our health insurance plan if we do something for our health each year. This year I signed up for Health Partners 10, 000 Steps program. Apparently the average person takes 3, 000 to 5, 000 steps each day. Today I took 4, 197 steps. Pretty average. Considering I was at home all day running after kids with a short walk to the park, not bad. The idea is to get active and get to the 10, 000 steps point so many days a week. Those who are keeping track are much more likely to get in the step their body needs. I have to say, I am curious to see how it goes.
