A Cranberry Surprise

I am normally not a huge fan of cranberries but my cousin made this salsa during the holidays for us and I loved it. It went great on tortilla chips and wheat thins too. You should give it a try. It is surprising enjoyable!

Cranberry Salsa

1 pkg. fresh cranberries
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
2 Tbsp onion, chopped
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1/4 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients (a food processor works good).
Cover and chill for at least 2 hrs.
