We have been hopeful that Seth could be done with diapers completely before we started to buy diapers for baby number 2. The time is coming close and our nights are not so dry lately!
Over the last long weekend there was a lot of change in routine, so I only pray that things will return to normal soon. Changing sheets in the night is no fun! (In fact, changing sheets at all when you are nine months pregnant is down right painful.) Seth of course is crying and frozen from being wet and we are trying to pull out bedding and get wet cloths off. It can seem like midnight chaos at best.
So here's the question: What measures have you found that help with night wetting? Do you use a special sheet protector? What makes night time changes less hassle for the whole family? And last but not least, at what age did your children get control over bed wetting? I would love to know.
PS - Seth is in a Twin size bed, not a toddler bed.

I have read that it could take until 5 years of age to out grow bedwetting. We use pull ups at night. Sometimes we are dry (which then we reuse the pull up) and some nights are wet. Until we are dry for a month or so we will stay with pull ups.
We used to place a dry large bath towell or two, over the wet area on the bed, remove the wet pj's and put on dry, if top sheet was wet, remove it and cover up with blankets...place wet items in clothes basket, and take care of in the morning...minimal disruption, bath towell is warm to lay on, and everyone can get back to sleep with less stress. ~Patty B
