"Oh oh"

So my son comes over to me while I am sitting at the computer reading an email and says, "Come mom." It seems more serious than usual so I obliged quickly. He takes my hand as I stand up and walks me over to a spot on the carpet and points down. Then he says, "oh oh." His limited words keep from knowing how "oh oh" happened or even what "oh oh" is, but when he makes the hand gesture to "spray it" I realize that my son knows I am a neat freak. He sees this mushed, wet cracker on the floor and knows that mom's inner desire is to run, not walk, for the Woolite Oxy Deep and spray until I am content that know one will ever know there was a spill on my beautiful cream carpet. Funny how perceptive these little ones can be. Though how they lose their brains when you ask the final question, " Did you make 'oh oh'?"
