I find it very helpful to keep track of when I nurse Eli. He is not on much of a schedule other than needing to eat every three to four hours (of course he is only five weeks old) and with the sleep deprivation I don't remember when he ate or from which breast he ate from. With Seth I kept a notebook handy at all times to jot such pertinent information. Now Huggies has made my life easier with this handy little feeding and diapering chart. I can track times of feedings and how the "Eli"minator is doing. I fill in for myself L for "Lefty" and R for "Righty" so I know where to start the next feeding, but you could do it however it works best for you and your little one. I also write inbetween feedings if Eli slept or was awake. It helps me learn his circadian rhythm so to speak.
If you are a nursing mom you should print one out and give it a try.
PS - I pulled out my notes from Seth (yes, I still had them). He finally slept a six hour stretch at two months of age. Yikes - I am in for a rough month two!

We made a dupilcate of the chart from the hospital. It came in very handy. I did it for six months. It's the biology major in me.
