I have been craving extra buttered and salty popcorn and a good movie for weeks. Finally we got somewhere on Friday night. Jason rented The Last Castle with Robert Redford in it. We had seen it a long time ago and wanted a good one with some action but also some thoughtful plot. The popcorn was great too and with a side of Dark Chocolate M&M's who could go wrong.
The night was so perfect we decided to try for a second. Why do we even try? It never works for us. I was at the library and picked up another Redford flick called The Clearing that I knew nothing about. This time we enjoyed ice cream and apple crisp but the movie was horrible. We kept waiting for something to make sense or even just happen. It never did. We watched as the credits started and just broke down laughing in amazement at the waste of two hours!
So who knows when we will get another movie night around here, but when we do could somebody please give us some good movie recommendations? We are in dire need!

We don't get movie night that often either, but two ones that we've both enjoyed recently are Taken and also 21. Oh, and every fall we have to watch Shooter as Jared gets ready for hunting and rifle season. It's good, too.
We also just watched New in Town with Jared's parents over the weekend. It was cute and remarkabley clean and a fun poke at Minnesotans :) so it made me think of you.
