eli is two months old

The peaceful sleep of a two month old Little E.

We had our two month check up for Eli yesterday, (he is actually ten weeks old today). He still has a horrible nagging cough but overall he is doing very well. Here are some stats:

Weight: 10 lbs. 5 oz. (14th %)
Length: 1 ft 11.5 in. (64th %)
Head Circumference: 36 cm

He got three shots and had to choke down another vaccine by mouth for rotavirus. It is always so hard as a parent to watch your child be held down and tortured. It's a wonder that technology has come so far and yet we still have to get stuck with so many needles! Eli was a trooper though. We were able to calm him down but the Tylenol is still helping us out with the fussy factor and discomfort. We trust those vaccines will serve him well for years to come though.

I have to say I was surprised that he had not gained more weight. Maybe my Little E will be staying little a little longer than Seth chose to. I sure love being able to hold his tiny little body in my arms and know it won't last long enough...
