my bath boys

Held by Daddy's strong hand.

I love baths! Sitting in the tub with water so hot that my skin turns fiery red with soapy foam all around me - that is comfort. Not all would agree but so far my boys love their bath time as well. It took Eli a few tries, but I think we have him figured out now.

Seth bathed in a baby tub until he was way too big. It just felt safer to me as a first time mom. I mean heaven forbid he get water on his face or in his ears! This time I have yet to even dust off the baby tub. (In fact I think it is destined for the Stuff Sale this spring.) It is just SOOOO much easier to dip Eli in while Seth is already in the tub. We lower him in and let him splash a bit, clean him up and done deal. My arms get a bit sore as well as my back, but I don't have that silly little tub to clean out and find a place to let dry.

What could be more fun than brothers in the tub together?! Too cute!

PS - I always said I would never post bath pictures and see what I went and did?! I kept them way decent though so it must be okay right?!
