Today I took Seth in for his three year old well check. He was as expected: healthy! For those of you who don't get to see him in person maybe this can give you a better picture of how he looks. Seth is three feet two inches tall and weighs about 32 lbs. He's actually looking pretty tall and slender to us which is funny after having such a chubby little baby that first year of his life. I figure that trend will continue as he grows to look more and more like himself and less and less like mom and dad. Isn't that a sad and happy thought all at once.
Seth did so well at the Dr I told him we would stop and pick up a treat afterwards. As our clinic is right by Byerly's we stopped there and headed to our favorite spot: the bakery. I really didn't want to spend a dime as it is the end of the month and the grocery money is long since spent but today was a special day so there we are looking at donuts, but all I can think is...89 cents for that?! Seth was about to show me what he wanted when a lady came out and offered him an M&M cookie. We were both sold. I said thanks and there we had it. A special treat and for FREE. Mom has no complaints!
Thank you Jesus for providing once again even the silly things!

Now you are wondering just how much junk food I allow my child to eat. The rule is all things in moderation.
