So Much for Supper

We were trying to have supper and this huge car carrier pulls down our street. We do NOT live on a street where you would expect this to happen, ever. We all run from the table to the front window and lo and behold the thing stops in front of the neighbors' house and then backs up to park in front of our driveway. It was huge - longer than our whole yard!

Seth was in shock and totally thrilled. The man climbs out and looks totally lost so my gracious husband goes out to have a chat with him. It turns out our neighbors are having their car picked up. That news said, Jason and Seth bundle up in their winter gear to go out and watch while I sit there and finish my supper and then clean up the mess.

I got a couple not so quality shots but I have a feeling Seth will be talking about this one for awhile!

Dad holding Seth out on the porch for a closer look...brrrr...

The cab portion of the car carrier as I could not get the whole thing in one camera angle!

The trailer and my two boys out for a run in the cold to see all the commotion. I guess it was worth a small supper. More cookies for dessert!

Wow! You are so lucky. It must have turned off Lexington. It didn't drive past us.
