Family Sledding

Getting back up the hill wears you out fast!

Jason and Seth working their way to the top was so funny to watch.

Thanks to the U of M being a "diverse and culturally aware employer" (Jason's words, not the University's) he had the day off today for Martin Luther King Jr. day. We are thrilled to have him home. Not only does it mean getting stuff around the house done, but also some quality family time. We decided to go try out the new snow with our sleds. This time I remembered to bring the camera!

Jason was giving some tips to Seth before sending him down on his own. One important thing he overlooked - hang on to the sides, not the rope! The kid wiped out and rolled which got him a bloody nose. Fortunately he is all boy and got back on for many more rides down the slopes.

As I can't seem to get the video clips to upload you will just have to imagine Seth flying down the snow covered slopes for now...
