Christmas: Unwrapped

The cute J mom family on Christmas Eve after church. That would be the angel tree-topper behind our heads.

The honest family photo...

Merry Christmas to all on this amazingly cold but sunny Christmas day! The presents are open at the J mom house and Christmas is in full swing. J dad and J mom just want to go back to bed after being woken at 6:30 am this morning and Seth just wants to play with his new toys. Sounds like Christmas don't you agree?!

A few photographs to help sum up our Christmas....

We have not said much about Santa to Seth but our stockings were filled this morning much to the delight of everyone.

In our stockings Seth and J mom got matching head lamps for the upcoming camping season. We figure we might let Seth stay up after dark this year...we'll see.

Since we were married Jason has always wrapped the Bible and put it under the tree. When it is opened we read the Christmas story to be reminded of the gift God gave us on Christmas: Jesus.

Seth driving his cars on the blanket mom made him with a "Cars" theme.

Ahh, the determined "I have to get this present open" face.

When each present was opened we Seth had us stop and play or read. It made the gift giving last much longer which is much more fun too!

Seth's favorite gift: a Mini Cars set that he can play with. He LOVES Cars!

Such fun to see pictures of Seth enjoying Christmas:) and of the books I sent--so glad they made it. Hope they are accurate.

What a great idea of wrapping the Bible and putting it under the tree-a very tangible reminder of God's gift to us! Looks like you guys had a wonderful Christmas!
