We ARE Animals!

Seth loves animals and we have been wanting to get to the MN Zoo since the new Russia's Grizzly Coast exhibit opened this summer. Alas, the MN Zoo is expensive so our little darling and I have been waiting to get a zoo pass from the library so we could go for free. Finally, I got one this week. (The snow last week must have slowed down the Monday am rush for passes.) Score!

Seth loved to get a closer look at the fish.

Seth was adamant that a cow actually "moo" but we heard nothing more than a grunt.

The weather was good enough to allow for a picnic lunch right on the grounds of the farm.

What good is a farm when you can't drive some tractors!?

We spent the day in and out of adventures having a wonderful time. I loved the new exhibit! I don't think that you could get any closer to a Grizzly bear without getting mauled. It was amazing and I can't wait to go again. Seth will surely have no complaints either. His favorite, as usual, was the buffalo. In fact, he couldn't enjoy much of anything until we saw them. Fortunately they were close to the fence and down by the water so we could actually see and enjoy them!

Mom and Seth adventures are great! The rest of the day we had to pretend to be bears and buffalo! I just wish we could have gotten a better nap when we got home. I am still tired. Being an animal wears me out!
