Going On A Worm Hunt

Seth has found a new love...worms. He won't touch them. He just wants to see them squirm. We head outside on this beautiful day and my son asks expects me to move the earth to find him a worm, then one more, then two more. And it just continues on and on until mom says, "NO MORE WORMS!"

I finally gave him a plastic shovel and told him to fill his dump truck with dirt until he found a worm so I could have a break! What luck shoveling dirt is almost as fun as finding worms. Seth even helped himself to a larger metal shovel from the garage to help get the job done. (I am daily blown away by the ability of my two year old!)

While I took my "break" I tried some fun angles with the camera (the pictures turned out great if you ask me) and did a little Sudoku. That's brain food for me and something I can do while also keeping at least one eye on my child.

We sure enjoyed spending our whole day outside! Praise the Lord for sunshine and 60 degree weather. May it last for a long time!
